I have to turn on the faucet at his command at least nine times a day, if I'm home all day, since he has not learned to do the trick -- thankfully since if he did, he will never turn it off.
Vif! Make her buy you a Drinkwell Pet Fountain--the water never stops and it uses all the electricity. Of course you can still make her turn on the faucet, too, but the fountain makes a lovely running water sound day and night.
